Trevor and Jenni have been on staff with The Navigators since 2006. In 2011 they moved to Lexington to help start a brand new Navs ministry at the University of Kentucky. They have three children. Jenni enjoys baking, running, hiking, and being a mom. Her favorite passage in the Bible is John 21.
Trevor enjoys games of any kind; video, board, recreational. He especially likes Ultimate Frisbee, Destiny on Xbox One and strategy board games. Currently, Trevor listens to: MuteMath, Panic at the Disco, and (by far his favorite) Twenty One Pilots. His favorite passage in the Bible is Galatians 5. "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.."
Tyler and Kimberly Stark
Tyler and Kim joined staff with The Navigators in the Fall of 2015; they are now on their second year of staff at UK. Kim graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor’s degree in ASL/English Interpreting in the Spring of 2015. Tyler graduated from the University of Kentucky in the Spring of 2016 with a Bachelor of Music in Classical Guitar Performance. Tyler and Kim have been married since July 31st, 2015. Yay!
Kim is originally from Middleburg Heights, Ohio - a suburb of Cleveland (go Cavs!) - and especially enjoys outdoor activities such as volleyball and hiking. Her favorite TV show is Gilmore Girls and her favorite ice cream flavor is Chocolate Peanut Butter. The Scripture she is most excited about right now is Malachi 3:10 which reminds her of the promises God has made. She can also lick her elbow.
Tyler is from Corydon, Indiana - the first state capital of Indiana from 1816 to 1825, founded by our ninth president William Henry Harrison. He is passionate about history and 90’s rock music. His favorite movie is “The Godfather.” Currently, his favorite TV show is “Friends.” Tyler serves with The Navigators because he was deeply impacted by them while in college; Tyler came to Christ as a Freshman in college through The Navigators ministry. One of Tyler’s favorite verses is Habakkuk 2:14 because it talks of God’s promise that the whole Earth will inevitably know Him and His glory.
I grew up in a town in southern Illinois near St.Louis, Missouri. I went to a school near my hometown for my undergraduate degree and attended the University of Kentucky for my Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology. While at UK, I became invested in the Navigators community and felt God leading me to come on staff!
My weird quirks include: a love for llamas, not being able to turn down a game of Catch Phrase, and knowing when free events are occurring in the Lexington area. I love Ultimate Frisbee and am always up for exploring the city.
I am so excited to help create a community where every individual is seen and heard! A favorite verse during this season of life is: 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:The old has gone, the new is here!" God has made us a new creation, our past does not define us, our identity is in Christ!
